Prof. Agnieszka Szypowska
Prof. Dr. hab. med. Agnieszka Szypowska is a paediatrician, paediatric diabetologist and endocrinologist at the Medical University of Warsaw (MUW), where she heads the Department of Paediatric Diabetology and Paediatrics. Her clinical and research work focuses on type 1 diabetes in children and adolescents, including early diagnosis, prevention, diabetes autoimmunity and optimisation of treatment. She is actively involved in international initiatives on early detection and prevention of type 1 diabetes, including GPPAD and EDENT1FI, and contributes to clinical research and expert recommendations in paediatric diabetes.
