Aarhus University is a research-intensive public university with a broad, interdisciplinary research environment and international collaborations. The doctoral candidate will be employed at the Department of Biomedicine and join the Börgeson team, with research activities linked to Steno Diabetes Center Aarhus at Aarhus University Hospital. This setting connects experimental biomedicine with clinical research through access to well-characterised patient cohorts, biobanked samples and patient-derived models. The candidate will have access to shared facilities for bioimaging, flow cytometry, sequencing and mass spectrometry.
