The research will be conducted at the Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Basic Metabolic Research (CBMR), an interdisciplinary research center focused on understanding mechanisms underlying metabolic health and disease and translating these insights toward new prevention and treatment strategies. Located in the Maersk Tower in Copenhagen, CBMR provides a highly collaborative research environment spanning experimental, computational and translational metabolic research. The doctoral candidate will join this interdisciplinary research community and be enrolled in a PhD program at the Graduate School of Health and Medical Sciences, University of Copenhagen. Training will combine project-specific scientific supervision with doctoral courses, seminars, journal clubs and networking across CBMR, UCPH and the MEDIculous REMeDy Doctoral Network.
